About me
Rick Palese is a musician and educator based in Austin, TX. He has taught a variety of music learners representing elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels. Rick has been on the music education faculty at VanderCook College of Music and The Ohio State University. Most recently he taught steelbands, modern band, classical guitar, and wind band at KIPP Austin Collegiate High School. Rick holds BMEd and MMEd degrees in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music and a PhD in Music and Human Learning from the University of Texas at Austin.
