By examining lyrical and musical components during the evolution of Hip Hop, participants will create lyrical content that replicates various eras of Hip-Hop through both recorded material and live musicianship--perhaps even a DJ will show up. Participants are encouraged to come prepared to utilize musical instruments and engage in writing exercises.
