Aidan Harvey is a PhD candidate and Associate Lecturer at Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland. His research centres on the policy context of UK higher education’s impact on higher popular music education curricula, pedagogy and assessment. He has published work in the Journal of Popular Music Education, and is also an active guitarist, producer and composer.
